Mancat Monday

Well, it's Gypsy here, and I'm back on Mancat Monday. Here's a picture of me making sure I look stunning.
Charlotte asked about why the weather in Melbourne would be down to 11 degrees early in the morning when we've been complaining that it's been so hot. See, people talk about Melbourne as being well-known for having 'four seasons in one day'. The weather can change heaps in a relatively short space of time. We can go from really hot temperatures to rain in the space of 24 hours - Mum says it's different to Queensland where she grew up, 'cos there it takes a lot longer for the weather to change. We saw the Weather Pixie at some other sites, and thought it'd be a cute way for everycat to see how the weather was here in Melbourne whenever they visited us.
It's tennis, tennis, tennis now in Melbourne, 'cos the Australian Open started today. There'll probably be a few more really hot days over the next two weeks. We're off to watch some tennis on TV, and wonder how those players can be so slow...

That is a lovely photo of you, Gypsy. Your weather changes sound like St. John's, Newfoundland, where our dad is originally from. As they say, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will have changed!

Great close-up, Gypsy! My mommy loved getting a better view of your paws. She loves paws.

Gypsy, you are looking quite handsome today!

Your paw-pads are a very nice color. I think I mentioned before that your coat is such a beautiful and unique color, and now I see that your paw-pads go perfectly!

We have a saying in Florida that is kind of like that. It goes "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."

Our thunderstorms though usually freak out the Aussie's that come to visit. We had one guy that was talking about driving in a thunderstorm and my Bean says "Well, haven't you ever driven in a thuderstorm before?" He said "Yes, but not when the lightning was striking down on either side of the roadway!"

That's a lovely picture of you. You have nicely colored furs.

Gypsy, we think you are a very handsome -- and clean! -- mancat! Wow, Melbourne sounds like a daily weather adventure! My mom does work for a man who came to the US from Melbourne, where he had a hovercraft company.

Say, if you get a chance, could you maybe come help me with a birthday blitz I'm having for my beansister?

Happy cleaning!
Rocky

That is a furry nice picture.

We are forecast torrential rain and flooding here in southern England this week. I do not like rain.

Come and see my holiday pictures, I just put them up!

PS My mum is sad that Andy Murray got knocked out of the tennis in the first round!!!

Gypsy is very hansome, no wonder that he takes care of himself ! I wished we had your temperatures here, but it's winter and not even that cold as it should be ony 8° ! I think we will hear quite a lot about Melbourne as our Tennis Star Justine Henin is certainly there too. She lives not very far away from my place.

Wow, not only are you a handsome kitty but clean and cute. Irrestible!

Yes, that is an old dysfunctional fountain that was built by the previous owner over 50 years ago. It is one of the 'my' spots where I can hide from visiting little beans.

Hi mate, thanks for visiting!
Did you know that my male human is from Australia? He really misses the Australian sun. Have fun!
