It's Gypsy here...today we had another day with mercury climbing over 41 degrees Celsius - this is a brief 'action' shot of me showing what I did for the day:
I cheated a bit here 'cos I've used a photo from Wednesday's (9 January) session - neither I nor Mum had the energy for taking photos in the heat. She's back at work (the paying kind) this week, and I'm still flat out conserving my energy. Mum says she's tired when she get home, but she has no idea of the energy it takes to keep an eye on the place while she's away.
We've got another day over 40 degrees Celsius tomorrow (Friday, 11 January), so if you want me, check the shady spots in the garden...anyone's garden.

Your coat sure is a striking color! Try to stay cool today.
What I wouldn't give for those temperatures. Its getting colder and colder here. Snow on Monday.

Wow, that is really hot!!! We've never experienced anything that hot. The most it gets up to here is around +35C. I hope it cools down a bit for you soon! Stay cool and safe.
Goodness, Gypsy! Take it easy and stay as cool as you can. If you need more wintery weather, maybe you should visit some of us in the states.
Woa! You can send us some of your hot weather here! Stay cool and I'll try and stay warm!
Gosh, that's HOT! It's quite 'cool' up here - only about 21C in the morning and 26C in the arvo. Perhaps you should stay down south in Antarctica for a while longer.
Yeah SS is envious that I am so smart! But then again everycat knows that we are much more intelligent than humans. I do try to help her in her study; I know exactly what she needs and put my butt on top of it.
Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog and helping to fine tune my technique. Good to meet another Aussie kitty too. Come visit again!
Hi, just discovered your blog via Mickey's Thursday 13! I'm so glad to meet a blogging Burmese at last! My William was a chocolate (or in USA champagne) Burmese and unlike you, he had a very loud voice and would chat nine to the dozen. I know he would have been a very keen blogger:) You are gorgeous too Tasha and I'm so glad you found such a nice forever home:) xxx
That is way too hot.
Ugh, that is too hot...of course it's cold here. A temperature somewhere in between would be nice.
It's 34 degrees here right now (Friday afternoon)... too, too hot! We heard on the radio that you're experiencing a cool change over there. Hope we get it too! Stay cool!
Wowww...it's truly very hot!!!
I hope it will be cooler soon!!!!
Gypsy, you look so comfortable & relaxed. Hope you are looking after Tasha.

Aaah, cats know how to relax. Thanks for coming over to visit and meet Mitzi.
I'll be posting on Cats on Tuesday when I get the time to figure out a blog theme.
It's weird to think about you being hot. We had 4" of snow here last night!
WOW! That is hot! Here in ChiTown, USA it's 33F/1C.
