Sadness - Gypsy RIP c. 1 January 1995 to 24 January 2011

It's the mum here. It is with much sadness that I have to inform you that Gypsy passed away yesterday morning, Monday 24 January 2011.

He has been bravely battling CRF and more recently Pancreatitis, but yesterday was his time. He had a really bad night and I knew when I saw him in the morning that it was time. His little body just needed to rest. We went on one last trip to the v-e-t and he passed away in my arms around 10:15 that morning.

I'm missing him more than I can say right now, and I'll post a better tribute to him later on. For now, Vale Gypsy. You will always be my 'big guy'.

The hardest part of loving an animal is letting them go. Gypsy will always remain in your memory, you are a better person because of him. I know how hard it is, I went through it 2 months ago with Patches and now Mittens time is running out. So sorry for you.....

G;day Melbourne, QM's Favourite City in Oz (fur real!)

We hope Mum's heart has healed some since Gypsy crossed the Rainbow bridge. He was (and I'm sure still is with the Angels) a fine example of a true Australian ManCat.

We wanted to thank you for your prayers for our Mum's One and Only Texas ManCat, Brutus.

It means the World to me. He had a particularly hard day of it yesterday, so many coughing fits, at one point it seemed he was coughing every 20 minutes. You know how it breaks a Mum's heart. just one coughing spell so far this morning.

Wishing We were enjoying the fall season with you all! It is on Mum's "Bucket List" to return to Melbourne ( the San Francisco of Australia is how I like to describe it! ) This time, she may have a visiting companion or two with her!

With many many thanks!

Blessings,
Rose and the Royals
with a Special Purr-Out from Brutus

Thank you so much for leaving words of comfort for me on the passing of my beloved cat, Alex. Marc and I are heartbroken. We know we did the right thing, and every day we realize how much Alex was “preparing us” during the last few weeks, but it doesn’t make it any easier. We can’t stop the tears…. But having wonderful friends, like you, and the support of the CB is making it better….

I am so sorry about your loss.... I hope the hurt is a little less now
