It's Gypsy here. Well after the squirt hogged the blog yesterday, I think it's time to inject a bit of maturity and gravitas into proceedings. I finally got my Secret Paws present on Wednesday, 2 January 2008. Do you know why I say finally? No, it's nothing to do with the kitties who sent it to me in plenty of time for it to arrive before Christmas.
My present actually lobbed at our Post Office on Thursday, 20 December 2007. Mum was at work that day, someone needed to sign for it, and the mail-person wouldn't accept my paw print. No respect! I had to wait for mum to get over being at work, being sick and generally being busy with other things, before she finally picked it up 12 days after it should have been here. I just can't get good help these days!
Finally, to the Secret Paws present itself from those wonderful cats and humans at the House of Mostly Black Cats. Thanks very much to Sanjee, Boni, Mini, Gree, Pepi, and Mom Robyn for great presents.
Here is a photo of my little sister trying to move in on me and my presents:

Here's me sorting out this little misunderstanding:
After all, this was my Secret Paws present, not hers. I don't mind sharing, but I'd like a change to open my own present. (BTW, Tasha already had her own present, and Mum'll post pictures in the next few days.) There was a lovely card, addressed to me (Blue is a nickname Aussies often give to redheads, and I'm a red Burmese, so I qualify):
Isn't it great! There was an excellent mouse I really have to bite, plus one of the famous Nip Ravioli's, and a very pretty ornament with lollies (sweets) inside:
Again, thanks so much to Sanjee, Boni, Mini, Gree, Pepe and Mom Robyn at the House of Mostly Black Cats for a wonderful Secret Paws present.

Hi Gypsy and Tasha:
We are so pleased to meet you. Gypsy your Secret Paw pack from the Hot(M)BC was womderful. We look forward of learning more about you and Kaz, your bean! Have a great day.
Your FL furiends,
The Post Office was very wrong not to accept your paw print. But it looks like you got some wonderful Secret Paws presents!
What a shame of the post office not to accept your paw signature ! Ignorant people ! But finally you got a lot of gifts ! I also got a present from one of my cats : A real mouse !
Hi Gattina
What a thoughtful cat you've got! I hope you remembered to say Thank You. I also brought Mum a real mouse on Christmas Eve as a present, but I don't know if she liked it as much as I did!

Hmph, our postal person knows us all by name but prolly wouldn't accept our paw print as signature either. Some kinda postal regulations or some such nonsense. Beans haf a lot of weerd rules and stuff. At least yoo finally got it and it looks like it was worth the wait!
Yeah, peoples can be pesty sometimes, 'specially with all their rules. Even our People has rules, and those rules aren't at all the important ones, for example Mozart and Gonzo are in charge at all times.
Still, you got your prezzies even though you had to, ah, discuss it first:)
Nice to meet you!
Mozart and Gonzo
So you got your Secret Paws after all. SS didn't know about Secret Paws until it was too late. So I got next to nothing for my Christmas. So I am relying on all the kitties to educate my ignorant SS on how to be a proper kitty mom.
Wow, you got spoilt! What wonderful gifts - I especially love the Nip Raviolis (who wouldn't?). Thanks for participating in this weekend's edition of WCB!
Yay! You got them ok! We were a little concerned the post would think catnip in the ravioli was infiltrating the country or something. hehehe Glad you like your goodies :)
Thanks for joining CotC this week!

Hi Mom Robyn & Sanjee
Mum said she was a bit surprised that the Nip Ravioli made it through, 'cos Tasha had a can of stinky goodness from her Secret Paw confiscated. There was plenty of other stuff as everyone'll soon see 'cos Tasha's Secret Paw will probably be our next post.
Anyway, we're both very happy that the Nip Ravioli made it, 'cos we share toys and stuff.
